His Endless Love
As we go through life and grow older, our bodies start to
let us feel the pains of our years. And as sicknesses and
diseases attack our bodies .We can grow weary, here on
earth. And wonder why? Why must we suffer like this?
But as Christians we know that God has promised us a
inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade, kept in
heaven for us. Where there'll be no more pain and
suffering. In heaven and we will be eternally young.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son that whosoever believed in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- - 1
Cor. 15:5
God's very own creation, the mortal body, is not good
enough for heaven. One cannot enter heaven clothed in
this earthly temple. We must first be changed into that
righteous perfection which awaits us. This form will be
without blemish, wrinkle, spot, distortion, pain, or aging.
Whether we die prior to Jesus' return and enter heaven or
are taken to heaven by Him upon His return, we will enter
that majestic place in an ideal state of being. We will be
forever changed.
In a poem by Dr. Henson he wrote:
The stars shall live for a million years and million years
and a day, but God and I shall live and love when the
stars have passed away.
Isn't it wonderful to know that if we believe in God and
proclaim he is Lord . We can ask God's forgiveness of
our sins and that he will cast our sins into the sea of
forgetfulness. No matter how many sins or how bad they
are, God forgives us. And the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ . So we can look forward to going to
Heaven someday and enjoying everlasting life.
A old gospel hymn comes to my mind now it goes as
follows:
When I Walk Up the Streets of Gold
The burdens of life may be many,
The frowns of the world may be cold;
To me it will matter but little,
When I walk up the streets of gold.
Refrain
When I walk up the streets of gold,
When I walk up the streets of gold;
How my heart will rejoice in that morning,
When I walk up the streets of gold.
With joy I shall enter that city,
The face of my Savior behold;
And I shall be changed and be like Him,
When I walk up the streets of gold.
Refrain
What wonderful visions of beauty,
What glorious scenes shall unfold;
And what dazzling splendors surround me,
When I walk up the streets of gold.
Refrain
For ages and ages I'll praise Him,
And never grow weary or old;
Love-crowned I'll abide in His presence,
When I walk up the streets of gold.
Refrain
